2005 Recall

If u 2005 400ex riders havent been notified there is a recall. My cousin owns one and the dealer called him and said that there is a problem with the reverse. A spring in the tranny can malfunction when u are in gear and shift the quad into reverse

i got the notice but have had mine over a year and never had it happen, should i still bring it in? cause dealing with the dealer is a pain in the anus

yeh, get it done now while you can. otherwise it might go into reverse or somethin when your not wanting it to later on and mess something up and then they might not pay for it.

2006's have the same recall... Just take it in. You normally get a free bike cleaning out of the deal.
