Need a favor from a 2005 450r owner

Can you take a measurement for me on your subframe? I need the measurement on the left side from the center of the bolt where the lower subframe bolts into the frame to the center of the next bolt hole. This would be the lower bolt for the bracket that holds the fender. It is 7 and 3/4 inches on my 2006. I am guessing it is about 8.5" on a 2005.

I am trying to mount up some heel guards and it doesn't look like it is going to fit. I am betting that Honda changed the bolt hole location and the fender mounting bracket on the 2006 due to the battery being located on the left subframe.

I really appreciate anyone running out to the garage to take this measurement. It is going to drive me crazy.

Sorry i meant to measure it earlier for ya but i forgot all about it. Anyway , it's the exact same 7 and 3/4 inches.

Thanks for the measurement. It was the correct bolt.

I can only figure that the heel guard bracket was manufactured wrong then. I need to stretch the plastic about 3/4" to fit and I am not sure it will make it. When I put the original bracket on, it lines right up.
