i need a new rear sprocket im running a 15t front and a 37t back i love it but im think of trying a 40t back would that be a good idea or what would u do?
i live on a farm soo i have it pined alot and i go to the mx track like 8 times in a summer.

on the chat if u go down like say from 37 - 34 ur speed increase but i though the number of teeth u have to faster it will go

the smaller you go on the front and the bigger you go on the back the more bottom end power you get and more loss of top end, the bigger you go on the front and smaller you go on the back the more top end youll gain and loose a lot more bottom end power.

i'm running 16 front 36 rear. but i'm running 18'' tires and tire size also makes a big difference in gearing

Just get the 36, dont bother wasting your money on buying a 40 just to try it out! :o
