i was watching some atv racing it was mx i was wondering y there quads r so low, it looks like they have no travel from there shocks?

its so they have a better center of gravity so that they can turn easier and faster.

SSD or ZPS...which are self sagging devices or zero preload which mean the shocks have a spring in them that compresses completely when you sit on the quad making it sit much lower but allows you to still have dampening over small bumps and such, but when you hit a jump the shock extends fully so you are getting the full use out of the shock on jumps...which a MX track is made up of:p

do u have to buy certain shocks?

usually any shocks besides your stock shocks have a ssd or zps...Elkas, some Works, TCS, PEP, Custom Axis, Fox....Etc.
