YFZ shocks on a 400EX

Will the stock shocks off a 06 YFZ fit on a 2002 400EX? My frined just bought a new YFZ and got the I-Shock front end with the deal. I am just curious if they would fit????

Ebay has kits to make them fit, but they look extremely dangerous, and could possibly break under a small jump

no idea what you are talking about:rolleyes:

it has been done, and you dont need a kit of any kind. takes more grinding and work then the 450r shocks but it can be done. it does lower the quad some though. search the site for more info, someone did it on here and posted up pics. i believe it was sampleez but i am not sure. ;)

here is some info on what sampleez did to get them to mount up. if you can get the yfz shocks for a good deal, i would do it. do NOT buy that kit off ebay unless you feel like dying.
