Thing is a blast man. The long travel set up is great. Need to get all 3 shocks sent out to race tech have them freshened up and a few more minor things to take care of. But other than that its a great bie.

i think once i get my other duner finished i would like to do a long travel build. been doing some research, and really interested in the ultra long travel desert frames from Lewie swan. they look like Sundahl frames but semi affordable. probably go with a bolt on cheetah on a stock welded trued crank. only if it doesn't cost a divorce, that is!

I dont know if the red was too much, im thinking just going black on the red stuff..

and yeah, i talked my teacher into letting me tear down and build it in there because when i started it was like 0 degrees outside, aswell as in my garage, its an auto class with 3 lifts and stuff, but i have it off in the corner, and all my parts locked in cabinets its pretty sweet.

And im getting extra credit for basically doing nothing more then i had allready planned on doing :D

And im still stumped on what color plastics to go with....

yeah, blue and black would have been my choice too. but....to each their own. i agree though, you should definately change the red parts to black. then either go with black plastic or if you like to stand out you might be able to pull off green fullbores. :eek2: haha

or possibly go with a blue rear fender, gas tank and rad shroud and try and find a green front fender and have a seat made by cascade innovations to tie the colors together...

but im looking forward to finishing this SOOO bad ima paint the jugs and carbs black too and the boost tube green, i got somee custom color match paint for the A-arms and tie rods, im sooo pumped what do you guys think about the latex plastic paint, this project is breakin the bank allready haha, new hinson`racing clutch basket, clutch, bored, new wiseco pistons, new cool head domes, powdercoat new front wheel hub, new durablue axle hubs, all the busings and bearings and seals omg.

we just finished this one, now trying to get her tuned in, my son named it "HITMAN". It's a 421 cub, 106whp, best run so far is a 4.14 in 300ft sand.

my new 98 banshee traded my 400ex for it like 3 weeks ago i needed more speed i already put on pipes bars grill headlight covers painted axxle rotor n swinger n put new bearings in the rear. I have a trinity stage 4 cool head with custom cut domes to put on and a stage 4 single 35mm carb kit in the mail next is tires in the back a full rebuild and porting

Its nice being able to beat an '08 450r with the hrc kit with a 13 year old machine
