air boot problem

the air boot on my 250x seems like it is too short or somehting. it pulls away from the carb no matter how tight it is. do the boots shrink over time due to heat or something. its was all good till one day after riding i noticed it was off. any suggestons are appreciated.

mine did the same thing the only thing i did was take the tube that runs from the air box to the carb and move it out some and then the carb fit up there fine never came off or anything. yea i do think they shrink over time tho. my 2 cents...

yea i tried that. it was maybe 1/4inch on the air box but it still came off. i think i'll just get e new one. thanks for the help.

Sounds like a shrinkage problem,haha :blah j/king:D :)
