Have any of you ever heard of Stevie Ray Vaughn or Jimmie Hendrix. In my opinion I think they are 2 of the greastest guitar players of all time

who is your favorite guitar player and why:D

yeah but I am like 14 and some of my friends have not heard of them and I am like come on man

some people my age have heard of Jimmie Hendrix but Stevie Ray Vaughn they have never heard of

I agree with you that they are very good players, especially Hendrix. But, in my opinion Eddie Van Halen is the greatest guitar player ever. The tones and noises he gets outta that guitar( pre Hagar era) are amazing. "Eruption" is a piece of art that can never be touched.

i heard that in his early days eddie used to turn his back to the crowd when he was doin his thing so noone would see what he was doing. anyone else ever hear of that?

Never heard of it. Im not sure how early your talking(pre 1981) but my dad saw them 4 times between 1981 and 1984 and he said he didnt do that.
