Do 400ex a- arms and shocks bolt right up to a 300ex? Any mods necessary?

they fit with frame mods do a search trust me you'll find loads of answers

for frame mods...do you just have to gusset the frame?

You don't have to but if your going to race then I would strongly recommend it.
