I rode a little today and my 400 tranny died.... On the neutral position, my rear tires are blocked... It's a serious problem.. I think find a used engine. Unfortunatly, I put a new piston in my engine last year and it run just perfect, 400$ lost... my engine run well but the transmission is rip...
What do you think is the problen? Fork, gear?
I serioustly look for a used engine and keep my cylinder and my piston...
How much time do you think to open the block, repear it and close it?
Thanks:(

you will know once you tear into it.it could be a broken gear, shift fork broke sending pieces of metal jamming the gears/output shaft.sounds serious to me,sorry:(

It might not be as bad as you think. Mine did the same thing. Ended up getting 3 new gears, and a new oil pump, gaskets, etc. About $350 in parts, plus labor for mine, not to bad.
Just buy any stock parts from Service Honda...

I wish. Realizing how bad it could have been, that really is pretty cheap, to go through the bottom end.
