I just moved to Virginia Beach, Va and I recent bought a 250R. So far the only place I have been able to ride is on the beach head behind the base that I work at. I am in the navy and work at the base. I am basically looking for some place to ride and have a good time.

anything within 150 - 200 mile radius. I am looking for hill climbs and gravel pits and so on.

What base are you at? Are you looking for a place to race or just ride?

I am on Dam Neck Annex - Atlantic Fleet Training Center.

I'm Interested in riding, never ridden tracks. It would be fun to tool around on but I like gravel pits, trails and just plain going fast!

Here is a great place to ride some trails and a small ATV only track.

How has it been? Good ole Beaufort, SC has been pretty good to me. Probably going back to Norfolk, VA to get stationed on a Carrier here in about a year or so.

I will be there... Have to get a new quad first. Looking at the new 06 450R. Just have to wait a little while.

Time for a new one. The 400 was starting to cost more money then a new one would cost.

Ahh cool, I am a seabee. My oldest brother is an ENC on the Enterprise.

What do you do in the navy?

Looks like a fun place to ride. I think that I will check it out.

Would you be interested in some cross country racing. There is a series in Virginia called the VXCS. I have been running it for a couple years now. If you like trails and just having fun you should try one of the races. Or if you available on Sunday and want to make a trip up to Budds Creek , MD there is a race there.

well I went down to NC to check that area out today. I didnt bring my wheeler but I just wanted to take the afternoon off and check it out. I will be riding down there next weekend on saturday. should be some fun or something to go out there and get a bit muddy and have a bit of fun!

I am going to bring my nephew with me who owns a small dirt bike so he can get some ride time in. I dont think he rides much at all.

thanks for the tips and I will be checking out more places in the future.

Morgan's corner has a very nice track also. It is in Elizebeth City NC. It's not far from you at all.
