seat coming off

the seat on my 04 keeps coming off, usually right after i launch a jump

does anyone have a fix for this or seen an aftermarket quick release latch kit (like the 250Rs had) for the 450?

Did you look into the seat latch made by Lonestar? I too wish that they had a better latching system for the 450R. If they made a system like the 250R that waould be the best imo.

Seriously, I haven't seen anyone having any trouble with this, have any of your grommets fallen off or anything that might cause the seat not to latch good?

thanks cb, but that doesnt really do it for me,

if no one makes a quick release seat latch kit........... i guess i will zip tie the seat latch to the seat :ermm:

i did loose one gromet, but after the seat started coming off......

the 1st time it came off, i thought it was a fluke.... so i put it back on and kept riding the track........ somewhere between then and the other 150 times it came off i lost one of the forward gromets :(

I lossed my seat during a race and it cost me the win.

I always Ziptie the seat down now,It takes seconds to remove it if needed.
