are you restoring one ??? if not, look for a 400ex model. They are much easier on the hand and are cheap if you watch eBay, here or call Service Honda

hey the 400ex throttle is NOT easier on your hand, it is a straight pull throttle built for a carb with linkage. the 250r throttle has linkage in the throttle itself and is made for a straight pull style carb. I have a couple $30 + shipping.
