Its a simple question but i cant find the answer anywhere:

im pretty sure its a physical change

fire causes a chemical change, but i need to know what kind of reaction it is

It is is a very rapid chemical reaction between oxygen and a combustible material, ahhh i love pyrotechnics

^^ Yup. In a combustion reaction, your products will always be carbon dioxide and water.

What are the choices?

their werent any choices, it was a weekly extra credit thing we have the option of doing in chemistry. I put exothermic because i had to turn it in today. They are usually easy questions, for a small amount of extra credit thats due every friday. here's the other questions that we had to answer with it, i got those, i just didnt know what kind of reaction it was. I think their could probably be more than 1 answer.

What type of chemical reaction is a fire? What are the four classes of fires? Describe each. How would you put each one out?

A fire is an oxidation reaction and also a combustion reaction. Whatever is burning is reacting with oxygen. A spark triggered the reaction. If heat is being released, it is also exothermic
