I don't think any of those guys were considered "factory" last year, I read Lawson saying something about that. ???

I'm talking Full factory support, getting $$$ besides parts and quads. Maybe Moore shouldn't even be on there for Honda.

Hey, i talked to travis spader a few months back at englishtown and he had told me not to expect Team suzuki to be on the new 450's till after glen helen, something about production rules, the quad has to be avaiable to the pubilc at the time and certain # machines must be sold for it to be "legal" for pro production. He went along for a long confersation about the new lt450's, about tem suzuki having the prototypes and select others having them, cost of them, and even how the have to somehow "return and destroy" the prototype quads. it was really crazy. Like i said i had a long conversation about this with him, i cant believe hwo nice he was and how much he let out and told me.

Yes, i've heard that there has to be 100 in circulation to be considered a "Production" bike.

Cannondalerdier, thats correct, and from what travis told me, there will ot be 100 true pruction quads available by that time, extremely doubtfull he said.

On another note though, are cannondale's able to race production? With switching to atk and all i didnt know how that would work?

maybe true about not racing the new 450 untill it comes out but Gust is riding the heck out of it at Glen Helen for about a month now

I read In the new Quad Magazine last night Spader and Brown are factory Yamaha and will use GYTR products

Yeah, spader and brown are being backed by yamaha. As for gust with the 450. There are some out there, but from what travis told me they are not the same as the true production quads coming out, and that suzuki actually has to recall the prototype quads and dispose of them. I was also told that they were having soe troubles with the fuil injection setup at the beginning of testing, and if not situated a carb setup would be used for the race season and the race quads. I would think by now they would have all those bug's fixed and will be running fuel injected race quads, but i guess like anything, with new product your gonna have some bugs here and there to work out.

Can't suzuki use the homogolation rule or whatever it's called, like the bikes have??
