If you do like 6 coats of rustolium and a few clear coats it turns out good. And lasts a long time, but if you want to do it right powdercoat.

Just remember that automotive paint can easily get even more expensive than powdercoat. Unless you get the paint, and labor free, I would sugest you wait till you can afford powdercoat.

Automotive paint, but like everyone else, I'd reccomend powdercoating. I had my frame painted by my uncle whos a professional painter and it looked sicked. But it scratched as soon as I put my engine in. It will look good for a few rides, but if you want it to look great, and last long, PC is the only way to go.

Powder coat! anything else isnt worth taking the thing apart for. Cammon powder coating your frame and sub should be under 300 tops. I got mine done for for under 200 with my clutch cover.

i used a red spray bomb on mine and coated it like 8 times and its staying really good i didnt think it would but none of it is wore off at all so if you dont have the money that is what i would do if you do POWDERCOAT i just didnt have the money and i had my arms off at the time to replace the bushings and figured i would do it while i was there
