Need Power!!!

im was thinking about getting a 416 kit for my 2005 400ex but i dont want to bore it out because it is nearly brand new. how much power difference would it be if i just got a 11:1 piston (standard bore) and a hotcams stage 2 instead of the 416 with a hotcams stage 2?

you will notice a power difference because of the cam alone and the cam alone with both together you will feel it i got a 11:1 in my 300ex without a cam and i felt a big difference

Thats the same setup i have on my 05 400ex and its pretty damn nice. Get the 11:1 piston, stage 1 hotcam, and sparks key - along with an air filter, no lid, and HMF and she runs nice!

I have heard i dont no how much truth there is to it that most of a 4 strokes power comes from the compresion. obvioiusly i dont mean this to under mind pure CCs there is no replacment for displacment but the source was credible enough for me to take notice. I also know of a guy who did basicly what u are talking about and said that his 400 was a beast after that makes for a great sleeper to
