all i have to say is wow. anyone else drive this car? i went today and drove the coupe, and i just love this car. makes me want to buy one now. for a v-6 its nice, of course its a 280hp v6. just idling out of the dealership you could feel the power sitting there. i got out on the highway barely on it, and i was doing 80mph. got on it doing about 60 after that and could just feel it rev up and pull hard. i just love it how it is so smooth shifting and handling. fully recommend this car. just figured i would share my tale of being bored and wanting to drive something new.

awesome. yeah after i drove it i told my friend that i wanted to get one a turbo it. then it would be somewhat of a sleeper even though its still a sports car. its just really nice you can be watching your dvd, listening to the bose system, and enjoying those 280hp all at the same time. great car if you ask me.

My brother just picked one up a few months ago. It's a 2005 that now has 300hp. The only thing it lacks is torque. This thing doesn't plant you in the seat like the new 300hp Mustang does. Other than that it's a very nice car. Smooth, agile, nice ride...

Yup. Infiniti and Nissan are the same company (Nissan is parent). The old Skyline's carried the Nissan name but it looks like the new ones will be an Infiniti product, probably gonna be called the GT-R, but everyone will still refer to it as a Skyline.

was it just the '05's that had 300 hp? cause the '06's have 280 or 290 something. i didn't see any that were 300hp. i personally like this car looks wise better than the new style mustang, thats why i was looking at it rather than a new mustang.

The G35 definitely looks better than the new Mustang but the V6 clearly lacks the torque of the domestic V8.

true that to the torque. but i'm sure the g35 would give a gt a run for its money. plus i think the gt is heavier. all in all they are about the same price.

My brother has his G35 and the guy he just bought out has a new GT. Magazines state the G35 is anywhere from 14.2 - 14.6 and the GT is around 13.8 - 13.9 and I'd have to say that's pretty accurate. In a street race goofing around the GT put about 2 car lengths on the G35 by the time we were shifting into 4th gear and was pulling on us. But, for the money, I'd own the G35 any day of the week.

like i said close. but like you said i too would take it over the mustang. now if infiniti put a V-8 in the g35 i bet that thing would be a killer. funny thing is the infininiti has the 3.5, and the v6 mustang has a 4.0 and i bet that v6 mustang couldn't even touch the infiniti.
