would the black plastic off an 06 fit on a 03 400ex?

well i never tried it but its susposed to be the same as all 400ex's. the 06 plastic change is only on the front.

yes it will work you just have to relocate you key . an if you don't want to run the light maier sells a light delete cover

Good idea! I wonder if 450R rear fenders will fit a 400ex.

Thats probably a negative on the 450R rear fenders. The 400ex the seat and plastics come off with the latch and on the 450r the seat is the only thing that comes off. Doubt its impossible but prolly lil more tricky.
