WELLL, if you wanna get crazy with the 300ex suspension. Forget the GHD a arms or w/e because they only accept 16 inch shocks. Buy some +1 or +2 long travel 400ex a arm, get the shock relocator bracket, and get 19 inch quadrate PEP 400ex big can 8 click shocks. 400 a arms do not mess up your geometry to the point that its noticible, even though everyone says it does. That would be the ultimate MX front end. Now about the rear end, I would just find a +2 swinger. I dont think they make LT rear end for a 300ex, so just get that and an elka rear shock, because PEP doesnt make 300 shocks, lol.

Get the GDH front and soon to be rear end. way better setup than the 400ex front end. The 16" length shock would probably be better than the 19" peps on a 300 I mean come on.

I've been using Works Steeler AT dual w/ res & preload adjust on the front with Works UltraCross fully adjustable on the rear.

I've been using them for 6 years. They work great.

They are not as good as a set of high end Elka's, but they are more than enough for what I need them for. MHSC, Dunes, Agressive Trail, and Play MX.

However, I did but them when the only options were PEP and Works. PEP's at the time were like $3k. So I went with the Works route. I would have gone with Elkas if they were around.

I reccomend Elka's, but if you can find a set of Works cheap, go for it. ;)

For the cheapest axle look into gforce. They're on rockmountainatv.com, but I'm not sure if they make them for the 300ex. As far as swingarm is concerned, I would reccommend the same brand aarms. Burgard makes excellent inexpensive products, burgardcycle.com

Ya, look into the g-force axle. There only 200 bucks and work awesome! Checkout some used shocks. Try the forsale section and ebay;)
