300ex clutch cable vs. 250x clutch cable

Guys i have a question regarding the clutch cable on the 300ex vs the 250x. I am currently using a 250x frame and a 300ex engine, and of course i have a 250x clutch cable. Are the cables the same on both bikes? The 250x cable feels like it way too tight and i can not adjust it at all since it is so tight. Let me know! Thansk

Yes they are the same. Look them up in a atv parts book and compare part numbers. They should be the same.

Thanks for the reply! The reason i ask is because my cable for the X is long enough, however the sheathing or covering of the cable is too long which doesnt allow me to bolt it on the adjuster.
