aluminum tends to bend real easy. it's not practical for trail riding or mx/xc racing. in my opinion the only thing it has an advantage to is drag racing or maybe if your building a trailer queen. If your looking for a good aftermarket frame find a chromoly one

bill ballance ran one on his XC racer. Everything i read said its stronger then stock and 20% lighter.

i think trail riding/ xc'ing it should be ok, except for hitting trees, but any frame would have a problem with that...jumping/mx'ing would be a problem....and by the way i doubt that its 20% probaly more like 10% which isn't very much, but goodluck you still see them once in awhile....

I got one from ballance last year- brand new in bag- it was the last one they gave him
