Will it leak?

I am getting a hmf slip-on pipe for my 04 400ex...My question is will the exaust leak were it connects to the stock head pipe? Is there any tips to make sure it doesn't leak? How much are you suppose to tighten down the exaust slip-on to the stock header with the clamp or whatever hmf will give me to secure it to my stock header?

It should be a pretty tight fit. and the head pipe does goes into the exhaust pipe so just the flow wont let it leak unless its loose.

mine didnt leak when I had mine...

you can put loctite exhaust silicone on it and it definitly will not leak

the clamp that should come with it is pretty tight when you tighten it

i have a power core 4 on my 440 and there isn't even a clamp there it just slides over the stock head pipe is that suposed to be liek that or can i seal it with some like metal tape or something
