well i got the 06 450er and i have a built mx 400ex.. was wondering if i can get my axle into the 450r? what is required to do it? will the 450r axle go into 400ex?...

theres some issues with them lining up but some have gotten it to work. I dont know how they did it

I tried it on mine and everything is about an 1/8 inch off. I was trying a plus 4 400 swingarm, onto my 450r. It and all the other parts are just different.

You can do it, but you have to put the spocket hub from the 450r axle on the 400ex axle. It's to line spockets.
I've done it on mine. I put the RPM from my 400ex and it will fit great.
Now I've put a real 450r axle because I can't put the 450r axle on the 400ex....
