I have a shorty T-4. Its easy to do your self but make sure you cut it on the inlet side. There is a site some where posted in here about a shop you can send it to. My sound level is over 102 db.

Thats sweet. I aslo have a T-4 that i use for riding the forests and was wondering how it would come out on that as well. So cut the mid pipe side, towards the header? Are you still able to run the spark arrestor?

About how much did you cut off.
What are the steps in doing this?
Ever heard or seen a E-series shorty?

As long as you cut the mid pipe/header side. Drill out the rivets and take off the pipe. Then cut your pipe with a sawzaw or something that you can cut a straight even line through. After that slide the end back on. redrill the holes and re-rivet. As long as you cut the inlet side you can still use your spark arrestor. Ask if you have any more questions.

I think I cut off 3-4 inches. just use your judgement. Make sure you dont cut it too short. The shorter the louder.

Whats the purpose?
Like what do you gain from it.

IDK maybe i'm retarded but how can you could you cut the inlet side. Wouldn't you cut the tip side? Thats what your pic looks like

I did cut the tip side on that. You are right. Sorry about that. I was backwards for a moment. You just have to make sure you have room on the tip side to do that. That way they still line up.
