HMF slip-on with Powerbomb header no fit?

I have a HMF slip-on on my 05 450r and i just bought a powerbomb header thinking the two will fit together, but it isn't so! is there something I'm missing? or does this setup only work on 400ex?

Well i had a fmf megamax full system and then i got a hmf slip on and i had to cut off atleast 5 inches off the header for the hmf slip on to go on. but i think that is because most companies make a slip on for the stock header:ermm:
