97 RM 250 for sale or trade

hey, im selling my modded 97 rm250 that was just fully rebuilt about 25 hours ago, gone through by a profesional shop. I am asking $2000 or i will trade for a nice 4 stroke quad, banshee, or 4 stroke bike. This bike has a pro curcuit pipe, RRP stage 2 port job and head mod,brand new twin air filter, applied fork clamps and anwere pro taper fat bars, pro curcuit fork revalve, RRP rear shock revalve, N style graphics and seat cover, new chain and sprockets, and other misc covers and accesories. They are not pictured, but i just put 2 new tires on the bike, a Kenda Millvile on the back, and replaced the front tire with a new one of the same model. They are in perfect condition, with only 2 rides on them. This bike is an EXCELLENT trail machine, has lots and lots of low end power, but still has lots of top end, will lift the front end in every gear. If you are looking for a trail bike that will still rip on the track, you found it right here. There is only one small problem with this bike. Sometimes when it is cold, it is hard to get into first gear, you need to put it into second, let it engage, then go back to first. The problem goes away after a minute of riding, but i need to let you know this. Once again, $2000obo or trade. The bike is being sold becasue im getting a KX 125. How ironic.

I owned this RM before Chris642 did. I was rebuilding the bottom end on the bike, and needed to get a bearing pressed off the crank. I brought the crank to RRP. Well, long story short, they grinded into my crank, heated it up, causing it to blue, and put a 3 inch hairline crack in it. They wouldn't even pay me for a new crank. I contacted the BBB and everything, but gave up after a few months. Needless to say, I ended up buying a brand new OEM crank, bearings, seals, etc. And brought it to a local shop to get it done RIGHT.

Got a Full MX 400ex that has prolly 3500-4000 in aftermarket that needs a motor that I would trade for your bike... let me know if interested
