I heard that by eating specific kinds of foods the week before, during the race weekend, and after to recover, could seriously improve performance. I was just wondering if any of you found a good diet regimen for racing that works for you?

Zach, I heard that Jack in the box is very good before, track concession stand during and definetly Roberto's Mexican after is the best race diet out there. Dude seriously, National riders traveling the circuit used to only eat at francises so they knew what there were getting from city to city, you never knew when you would get some "ROAD TRIP" type of french toast at the Mom and Pop cafe on the road. Go for it!

The best thing that I have found for training is drinking plenty of water, and no soda. I feel like since Ive been drinking more water in much stronger in terms of strength and endurance. I mean a sh*tload of water, I drunk a gallon a day for about two months and it really help with my training.

wow that was interesting, thanks for posting that

i diet bad, but excersize, and practice great, which makes up for it i suppose

the true time you need to for sure eat good things is the week of the race, the day before the race, and the race day

fruits as said are very good for you, as would be pasta or some high carb food, etc
