no, the 250ex has a drive shaft. you can do it with a blaster or a 300ex though:macho

i should have clarified. its from a utility 500. so it is shaft drive.

ohh that changes everything!
measure the drive shaft against the 250ex and measure the space inside the frame where the engine would mout up at to see if it would fit
you would probly need to guesset the frame and make custom motor mounts and a new gas thank

Just buy a new quad, it's alot easier. You would have to weld, cut, line everything up perfect and spend quite a bit of money.;)

It probably wouldnt work. Instead of spending all that money on something that doesnt have the chassis and suspension, I would just buy a new quad.

well if you are waiting on a z-400 than you are better off just to wait...but i am just giving an opinion...i would go with the 400ex!!!

it prolly wound work to well and ull have alot of chassis problems. just buy a ltz400 or a 450 i dk y peole like 400ex's there just so slow to me and a z400 could smoke it.
