Me and a couple buddies had the day off work, so we decided to head down to Earlywines indoor track for them to get in some riding time. I ended up just taking pictures the whole day. Only about 11 quads including the minis showed up during the day while about 40-50 bikes were present.

Took almost 300 pics and decided to share some

Red 400ex is my brother Tyler (Underpowered), Yellow 400ex is my buddy Shane

Big table top coming out of a S bend turn. Table is about 55-60 feet I believe.

The tripple right after the big table about a 45-50 foot gap. A hairpin and then the rhythm section is right after.

The mini bikes and quads are a blast to watch, and many are nearly as fast as the bigger guys.

pretty bad when i am out there on an XC 400ex, doing everyjump on the track when guys on full MX quads wont even do them. it was lots of fun till the power went out. IT came back one and we went back out. it is a great track, one of the better local tracks where i am at.

Hey now, be nice. I am an MXer, and cannot do all the jumps on their track. I wish I could have been there to practice on Monday, but I was there all weekend practicing and The Jaspman took my shocks off Sunday night.

i was there on 12-26-05 and i loved the track there were about 50-60 bikes and about 8-15 quads... it was pretty packed but i enjoyed my first ride with the quad and on the track... i didnt do vvery good because #1. Im out of shape and #2. It was my first time on the 440 #3. It was the first time on a real motorcross track since i was 8.

:D yeah i plan to go down there more often... chris is a really nice guy helped me with my battery, prett expensive for $20 a day... but it beats the back yard...

i did not mean it to sound like that. i just meant that for my bike beaing fairly stock in comparison to their, i would think they could put their expensive parts to good use. i may not have the best bike but at least i can use what i have. i know that just because you have teh bike does not mean you can do all the jumps, they take practice. but even in the straights and whoops i was still faster they them, even though i dont have the suspention to do the whoops well.

Nice pics. I would like to win the lotto and build a track like that- A/C in the summer and heater in the winter.

what is the lap times like there?

Cdaleracer
01-03-2006, 08:15 PM
depends on how fast you are. Pros are less than a minute. I timed Casey Martin once and he did 7 laps in 4 minutes and 55 seconds.

Chris and Nikki "retired" from racing to open this track. He will however race the 2006 GNCC season!!!:macho

lap times vary. shane on the yellow MX 400ex runs a 43-44 second lap, while i run a 45-46 second lap. pros run right at a 40, dirt bikers pros run a 37, and c class quads run at about a 48-50 second lap. it varys on rider skill and how many people are on the track at the time.

Chris is in the process of building a z-450 for the 2006 season. it is nearly completed, just waiting on a rear shock from works adn some fullbore plastic.

I cannot tell you why he built an MX quad, cuz if I do I'll have to kill you!!! J/K

He will be racing in the old mans class(vet) I believe. He might change his mind before then though.

I know that atv scene had a few videos of it. One was a helmet cam ride of the old track layout. I don't think anyone has an internet video of the new track
