Ok whats the ratio for the mixture of the gas?
<----------- First timers with 2 strokes. We did what the guy said, were we bought it from and he said 20 to 1 is that right... when he rides and get off of it ,and try to start it back up in like 2-5 minutes or so it won't fire? is that because out mixture is wrong or could it be something else...???
(we just replaced the spark plug too thinking it could of been a fowled plug)

HELP!?!?

I run a 32:1 but alot of people also run a 50:1. Im not positive but I doubt that the mix ratio would not allow you engine to fire but def try changing the plug.

my 250r done the same thing it would fire right up when the engine was cool but when i rode it long enough for the engine to get to normal operating temp it would stop firing and die.i put a new stator in it and it has never done it again. i use a 32:1 mix ratio as well. good luck

32:1 and 50:1 are very common.
