i just recently bought my 400 from a friend. i want to know the reputation of this bike. is it low maintenance and dependable? haven't had any problems with it so far, just want to know what to expect.

i bought a 2000 in april of 04 just sold in sep05 rode it almost every weekend in b tween had no real problems great bike

They are a great bike, just keep up with the oil changes and a few other maintaince things and it'll probaly run forever. Get a service manual and don't over abuse it.

the 400ex is bullet proof. keep up the maintenance on it and it will last for a long time.

ive replaced my whole rear end frame and now im working the motor something broke in there too
