I do, and I love it. The only other cam I would consider is the HotCam stg II or the '05 CRF. It has tons of bottom end torque and pulls hard in the mid-range, but it don't fall off on top. Installation is easy with a service manual!

hasn't someone already posted part number for the HRC cam, crf 05 cam?

we try to help when we can.
Maybe you misunderstood a bit, I was asking because I need the p/n info too. I'm just to lazy to do the search. I know the p/n are out there- I was hoping someone else could help me.
thanks.

I've been trying to search them out, but the server keeps erroring today. No luck at all on searching.

the 02 has more mid-top end pull, and the 05 is more all around power

I have tghe CRF 02 cam in my 2005 TRX , I will never change it I love it compared to the HRC and I race MX all summer long. Ill try a pretty big piston this year with valves and everything with it.

Im even looking to get a second R, it will have the hrc in it already if I get the one I want.
then i'll have both 04 and 05's
The 05 I will leave with just the stock pipe for trail riding. I love my sparks on my 04, but its so loud to ride just anywhere is asking for trouble.

You won't need a gasket, just the cam. The valve cover has a rubber o-ring type seal. ;) Make sure you check your valve clearances after installing the cam. It may need re-shimming.

I almost never ride my 416 now that I got my suspension dialed in so I might as well sell now while I can still get a decent amount back for it. I have just about 13,000$ in that thing, and I let everyone else ride it since im usually on my R.
Figure if I have 2 R's it'll be one for trails and one for over on are track/field.
Happy new year right back at ya. Yeah I hate this damn snow up here in new england. My vision makes it too hard to ride when everythings bright white. :(
