I've got black Tech 8's and I use Simple Green, but with black you're gonna have a hard time keeping them new looking.

i've went threw 2 pairs, of tech 8's in the last couple years, an the best way to clean them, that i have found has been simple green , and elbow grease with a scrub brush, an then a lil bit of polish , makes them last.!

I have the same boots and use the same method but i follow up after they are nice and dry with some leather wax on the leather parts and stitching.

Something really really inexpensive that I have used for all our boots after I wash them is Pam cooking spray. I just spray that on them and it gives them a nice shine as well as it coates them so the mud doesn't really stick. Just a quick and easy way.

You can also use WD-40...:D

Keeps the buckles working great!

be careful with powerwashing your boots, the leather can get worn out much quicker, i would suggest had washing

I agree,, I would power wash AT A SAFE DISTANCE!! only when your boots are really caked in mud! After you get the heavy mud off Then follow up with a hand washing.. Boots are just too expensive to ruin them by power washing imo...
