Rocky Moon from Leesburg, Ohio passed away last night on New Years Eve. I was told not tell tell why as of now. He was without a doubt the most talented rider around here that had an attitude to back up his skill. He raced Nationals, Earlywines indoor series, Jackson indoor series, the Ohio fair series, and more. Odds are if you race in Ohio you have heard of him. He raced mostly pro class on quads and was known to unload his dirtbike and race it also. This kid was one hell of a rider. He was only 17. RIP Rocky

He was a good rider, a decent and guy and he will be missed. We were talking about him last night. It's hard to hear about this kind of thing.

I spoke to he and his dad not even couple weeks ago. I watched him ride his dirtbike while he had his quad tore down for the winter. He was a good rider on anything he threw a leg over.

Goodpseed Rocky.

Why were you told not to say how he died?

It's possible the family has reasons that only they can deal with in their own time and way. I do not consider that an odd request.

How the kid passed away isnt important right now we just want to let everyone know that a great rider with a lot of talent is no longer with us. He had a bright future!

Rocky moon was not only a good rider, he was a good person you could go to his house pick out of any of his 4billion quads and just ride the heck out of it and as long as your having fun he wont care... he wasnt a selfish person i guess it just goes to show that you can be on top of the world one day and have everything you want and you can just go to sleep and never wake up...

Rocky was defently a talented AND CRAZY rider, wasnt afriad of anything... 17 is just to young of an age to be gone, he only got to race 4 or 5 national races... just sad kid had lots of skill and more room to work with... R.I.P

I didn't know Rocky personally...but I loved watching him ride. It's so odd, I didn't even know him, but yet I can't believe someone with so much talent is gone..
