I have a few questions...

whats a good size of lectron to get for a very fast 416? I'm havin a custom one done from a atv shop... He said 40mm would work great for my mods and dune riding. does that sound right? I already paid him and he just said he will send it to me when i decide the size.

It really depends on where you want your power. If it's a bottom end motor (XC use) a 39 or 40 will be the best for you. If your making top end (Desert or Dune) a 41 or 40 will be better. It's hard to tell where you want your power, Hotcam stage 1 and an X-6 system confuse me.

Why switch from the FCR to the Lectron? Just curious.

cause the lectrons are easier to jet once ya learn how... I switch from different elevations too much. and i'm doin the 416 when I put the carb on... see towards the bottom of my sig?

Looks like you're building a top end dune runner then. I suggest a 40 for the 416, if you go larger IE 440-465 then a 41 will run better.

For an all around I'd choose the 40. You will gain a lot of top end simply by switching from a Stage 1 to a Stage 3 hotcam.;)

what air boot do I use for the 40mm lectron?

You can probably still use the same one that you are using, if anything you'll have to heat it up and form it over the lectron. Thanks for the offer but I have one on the yfz;)
