what all can you put into a 250ex? and if you get almost everything possible how fast apprx. will it go?

pipe, air fliter, no air box lid, rev limter new tires, engine work better carb and i think thats about it i dont know how fast it will go but i think it would be able to keep up with a 300ex

it wouldent smoke it in a drag it would hit the rev limiter,
it would be the same in the woods because of the with of it and the suspsenon, and on a track i think it would lose;)

If you did everything you could to it you could change the internal gears;) But seriously, the only practical way to change the top speed is adding a rev limiter. You could do whatever you want to the engine, but it wouldnt make it faster. It would make it quiker. The engine can only spin a certain amount of rpms, and the only way to make it spin faster is a revlimiter. You could also add bigger tires. In a drag race it would win until it gets to 50 mph.
