im going to run a 14 tooth sprocket on my 300 and the stock case saver wont fit....ive seen people grind down case savers before but i wanna keep the stock one so i can go back to a 13 tooth setup at a couple races this year....does anyone know if there is a company that makes case savers for the 300ex or should i just go ahead and buy another stock case saver and grind it down...

I've got a 14 tooth on my son's, and I used the stock saver. Why have 2? Grind one and leave it.

Yeah It should work just fine if you grind it down. You wont ever have to change it either the case saver as long as it blocks the cahin from hitting the actual case the case should not break.

when people say gring it down, your not taking off that much. When you put it back on,put the case saver in the center of the chain and install the chain, sprocket and case saver at the same time.
