just wondering

ok awhile ago i posted somethin about me braking a bolt inside my motor(one of the oil filter cover 1's)
so thats out and for now i used a bolt from my stock muffler end cap to hold that on...now that rattles can i just take the end cap off for now?i have done it b4 but i heard somewhere that it might burn valves?or do somethin else?i dont know any help is appreciated...my shop isnt opened till tues. to get another bolt and i have to ride!!!!

It will be fine. Check the spark plug though to make sure its not running lean, i highly doubt you'll have to rejet but its always best to check and make sure.
