Hey,
I was wondering if you can put a new grab bar on a 400ex
i have a 02' and it is buit into the subframe
I would like to get a larger grab bar though

yes you can but the factory one needs to be cut off and new holes need to be drilled and possibly welded for a new grab bar- all info should be contained w/ a new grab bar purchase

ive seen em different ways,maily cut the stock 1 off then weld a whole new back piece to the subframe....if u cant weld go to a car shop,they should b able to do it there just tell them how u want it....

you can get ones that just mount on to it ive seen them.
Some are cut then weld on tabs and some are bolt ons.
The older PRM bumpers were cut and weld but I belive they only manufacture bolt-ons now.

yeah the ones at prm use U bolts which allows you to leave the sub-frame alone
I have been thinkin about getting it

didnt some1 on here make a new 1?i forget who it was but it was badass.....i want 1 that looks stock not the desert 1...has any1 seen those?

you can get a aftermarket subframe... and then use 250r grab bars
