Its time to do away with those hidious back tires that look like ballooons!! I want a tire thats good for hardpack, also for sliding and can run in some sand.(i do have paddles).how would Maxxis Razr do?Mud sharks,or Fast trekkers?? Are these good choices??

i have razr sand love them. they work great in all conditions except real soupy stuff but if you ever run into any of this stuff just keep ur weight on the back and hammer the throttle down and u will glide right over it. they work okay iin sand bu tnot the best. ive had mine for 8 months and i still have bout 60-70% left.

hope this helps.

I just put 100 miles on my new razr's this weekend and loved them,,plan on running razr mx tires after the ITP's wear all the way down.

They're kinda molded alittle diffrent. I have Razr's and love them to death. They hook-up great, except in really soupy stuff. If you're not in the mud all the time, then id recommend them.

hey you guys that have razr's how easy are they to break loose? i have stock tires on my 300 and i love the way they hook up most of the time but i want something that slides a little easier but still has pretty good traction for mud are the razr's a good choice or is there something better?

Raz'rs and Holeshots are almost identical tires as far as available sizes, tread design, purpose, and weights. I think it just comes down to preference. Everyone I ride with has Raz'rs, most of them used to run holeshots. I'm about the only one left with the holeshots now, and that's because I prefer the 22" XCTs for woods riding with a 300ex. On the 400exs, the 20" Raz'rs are much more popular.

it wouldnt matter if the kit was for the 400...dont all newer hondas have the same bolt petterns?....

actually most hondas ever made except for minis and some really older models and such...should have the same bolt pettern...correct me if im wrong..i just remember reading that somewhere in DW

what do yall suggjest on a 250 ex,can still slide, good in slurpy stuff, and all in between

hey the reason i dont like the razrs is becouse u cant get them as low profile as u can the itp's! it's really your pesonal preference, i had razrs but i just like the itp's better, i get a better grip plus the fronts look ALOT better!

who cares how a tire looks? my bandits are flat out ugly, but they are the best tire in the world for my type of riding, except for jumping. they dont squish and give a soft landin like some tires, but hey, thats what shocks are for!
