assuming this is a stock axle Looking at it from the rear, 1st, take right wheel and hub off. 2nd loosen axle lock nut ( the larger diameter nut first, it will loosen going towards the swingarm ) then loosen the smaller nut going the same direction untill you see a large C- clip that is under the nut ( you can stop lossening when you get to this). Take clip off using screwdriver or snap ring plyers. 3rd lock nut assembly will slide off. 4th take brake caliper off, then brake rotor should slide off ( it may take some light pecking from a hammer/rubber mallet ) to slide off. 5th there will be a large snap ring holding the brake caliper plate against the swingarm, take this off ( then plate will come off ). 6th loosen the 4 carrier/chain adjustment bolts all the way. 7th take chain off. 8th axle will pull thru from the left side of swingarm ( carrier may come out with axle, if not you can pull it out next ). Then take a punch and knock out the bearings ( if u have a torch, heat up the bearings and they will come out easier ). Reassembly in reverse order.....Goodluck Oh yeah service manual helps also !
