Well I did a search, and I didn't find the information I wanted. I wondered if there was any company, or anyway you can put some aftermarket heel guards on a 300ex? I seen that Pvt. Maggot did it, but I was looking for more direct bolt on, or little fabrication. Thanks

Last time I checked, IMS did not make heelgaurds for the 300, and they had no intentions of marketing them. Idk if that's changed or not, but as far as I know they don't make them. They're not actually the ones that make the heelgaurds, AC makes them and IMS puts their name on them. Same thing Roll Design does with their nerf bars.

I put IMS foot pegs on and then bought 400ex IMS heel guards. All you have to do is cut the bracket that bolts to the sub frame and tig it back in a different position. They bolt up great! I got our heel guards off E-Bay new for $40.

I used stock 400ex 20 bucks. Had to bend the rear mounts a bit but the look good and work good, most of all they were cheap.

Plastic heel guards do nothing for protection. Your foot will roll right under the tire if it wants.

you must know nothing about the atv world. Anything is possible and any part will fit on any quad, you just cut and weld. :D

I talked to IMS about the heelgaurds for a 300EX, and they told me that they had absolutely no intentions of making/selling any. They say that there isn't enough demand for them, so they won't make them.

However, I'm pretty sure that with a little work, it wouldn't take much to get a set of Z400 heelgaurds to fit. Just a few well placed blows with a rubber mallet.

I Found nerf bars with Pegs and heal guards at Wheelerparts.com
They work very well. I will get a picture and post it here.

Here they are. I bought these from Wheelerparts.com. Go to Pro nerfs under the headings they came with built in pegs and heel kicker plates.

Only thing I did was powdercoat them. They were cheap like $200 and showed up in a week.

Them are nice, but i was looking for some more like the ims ones. or the dg ones with the heelguards. Them have heelguards but not what i'm wanting. Does anybody make just some aluminum heelguards.

Nope.

Some people have had a run of custom ones made up by them. They have to buy like 20 or so then sell the other 19 on e-bay or something.
