I have Razor2's on both front and back. The 6-ply works great for trails.

razr 2s are a good tire for the front
but for the back the holeshot hds b/c they last alot longer
the new bite will stay with them for longer
with the razr2 backs once u wear down the top layer they lose most of there bite

I love the Razr 2 rears. Ive had em for 6 months and ride a lot of roads and there not showin much sign of wear. For trail riding the 6 ply is a must.

I'd go with the matching Razr2 on the rear, I've ran them since they came out, havent had any trouble from them yet- 21 xc races and 2 6-hour races plus lots of trail rideing. As a cheaper alternative I'd suggest the Kenda Klaw or Knarly- they hold up great also and traction isnt a issue.

I would also say razr 2s all the way around, very durable and long wearing

MY friend has HD's on the back of his 05 ex, and he really likes em. he rides alot of gncc style terrain, along with hardpacked terrain. i can attest that they hold up INCREDIBLY well! if you dont mind a little weight, i would deffinetly recommend these!
also, my other buddy has a 450R with Razr2 rears. i think they bite almost as well as the HD's and are much lighter. they too hold up very well, as he rides alot on pavement. i feel that the HD's last a little longer, as their edges dont seem to dimple as much the Razr2's do. good luck man!

Thanks for all of the info.

I was thinking about wheel spacers

I cant afford new a-arms

Are these any good:confused:

honestly i would save the money and do it the right way.
but spacers arnt bad for someone that dosnt spend much time in the air.

are the razr2's about the same weight as stock tires???

no razr 2s are def. alot heavier than stock, they arent for jumping. pretty much just for woods racing

I think I am going to get razor 1's or the Holeshot xcrs

i am starting to ride more open spaces, sand and jumping, but i still want to ride trails

I would like something that will get real good traction and will be good for jumping

I do like the xcr's,
do they get good traction in the mud, because they dont have a lot of side bite

How much lighter are they from the razor 2's

Also are the xcr's 6ply or are they ok for trails

I still dont know what to get, because i want something that i can jump good with and that have good traction on trails and in the mud
Thanks

Anyone have any experience with the i-Razr's? I have a buddy that runs them on his Predator and likes them. Says they hold up really well too. Any opinions?

6 ply IS what you want for the trails. The Razr2's are probably the best tire out there, but I personally find it hard to pay that much for an ATV tire. I run the Kenda 6 ply XC tires ( Klaw right now but I really like the Knarly) and have been very pleased with their performance for about half the price of the Razr2 or Holeshot HD tires.

kENDA KLAW XCR's they grip everything and kick butt. I ride trails all the time with them. Great tire.

I like the irazr. Front and back. but its a personal opinion. They do pretty well in trails and open spaces. I dont know about sand though.
