Help!!

[Honda TRX250ex]

I started up my quad before and it was blowing smoke, it looked white but than last weekend i started it and it was blue smoke.
I just rebuilt my whole (piston rings vavles cam) and broke it in right. about 12 hours no more than 1/3 throttle.
why is it smokeing what could i be doing wrong, please help!

I know mine blew out blue smoke for a little bit after the rebuild, it took a little bit for it to go away, but I dont think it was 12 hours. I also broke mine in with no LESS than 1/2 throttle! I will break in everything this way now!

yeah i didnt go more than 1/2 throttle and went into fifth gear about 2 times. the smoke goes away once when it warms up like 5 mins later. could i need to rebuild it again?

If its white it could just be because its cold outside. Smell it, what does it smell like. If it smells like your burning oil, then theres your problem. If it smells normal, its probably fine.

If it smells normal, its probably fine. today it was white and i smelt it and it smelt like it normal exhaust but last weekend i smelt it and it smelt like burning oil
