We did alittle research on the kymco`s an they appear to be a soild little quad . Powerroll has a big bore kit an cam that`ll make those babys scream . An I thougth I seen a cdi for them as well I`ll look today an post if we find out.
My buddy has 2 kymco 50`s his kids raced XC all year problem free.

thanks, i picked it up used 2005, for $500. cant beat that, but it needs a little tlc. my daughters 1st quad, i'll only do a couple of things to it for now.

probly pipe, airbox and rejet, but it does hit the limiter pretty fast, seems to have more on top, just need to find out how.

50cc instructions
1. locate the cdi box under the seat
2.locate the green wire loop on the end of the box
3. cut the green wire loop with wire cutters . always leave enough room to reattach if needed.

90cc instructions
1.locate the cdi under the seat.
2.locate the set of wires connected to the cdi.
3.locate the green wire incorporated into the 4-wire connector and cut it with wire cutters. {note: there are two light green wires in the cdi box . be sure to cut only the one that is connected to the 4-wire connector.

i`ve got a 06 kawasaki kfx 90 which is made by kymko, on the cdi there are only 4 wires,3 of them on the 4 prong plug in,i disconnected the green one on the 4 prong plug in and the unit won`t start! just wondering if the`ve re-vised the cdi or wiring on the newer units, the 4 prong connector has these wires 1-green,1 blue yellow,1-black yellow, the small connector has only one black wire
