K&N jet question

I have a stock 300ex. I was going to put on a k&n power kit when I read that the jets that come in it are for stock pipes, stock engine, and stock airbox. I plan on getting a new pipe etc., so I'm now confused. Also, are the stage 1 jets what come in the power kit?

mine came with stage 1 and stage 2. i wouldnt have bought the crap in the first place , it gives you waaay more jets than u will ever need and u could go buy them individually and save money.

We just finished putting the K&N Powerkit on my 300 EX yesterday. It has a stage 1 and stage 2 kit included. The kits have a variety of instructions for elevation changes, airbow mods and different exhaust set ups. The Stage two system is for people with an open airbox and aftermarket exhaust, while the stage one is the system for exhausts and stock airboxes, with the supplied filter and outerwear. i am very pleased with the kit, the instrucions were easy to follow, and the total package:

Procircuit T-4 Slip on
K&N Filter
Outerwear
Dyno Jet Jets and Needles

Works VERY WELL and increases power dramatically.
