steering stem bushing and rear brake pedal

I was wondering if anyone had an easy way to remove the lower steering stem bushing and also the rear brake pedal. i removed the cotter pin and i cant get it to slide out of the frame. anything would help thanks

Did you also remove the circular clip that holds the bearings in place?

For the rear pedel, just remove the cotter pins after detaching the spring and master cylinder arm.

The brale pedal could also be rusted in there. Try some wd40 and then twist and turn it while pulling.
