because i needed to do alot of work and i figured it was easier. It only took me 45 min to get the engine out. Plus im glad that i did because there were some bolts in the head that needed a breaker bar and it would have been hard to do it sitting on the ground. All it was was a few bolts, four wires the chain and the reverse selector and the cables. Definetly worth it. Also this way i knew that my engine would stay clean, dry while in my garage.

It would be easier to take them out while the engines mounted soild to the frame. Now your going to have to clamp it to some so it wont move.

yeah, i'll get a couple other good shots before i start putting her back together. My head and cylinder isnt going to be back for like 2 weeks and then i have to haul some ***** to get her back together for a FEB 5 race...lol

I wanted to do some port work along with a 297 but parents wouldnt let me. They said it was fast enough already....lol. So all i am doing is replacing the clutch along with boring it up one size over stock with a 11-1 piston. Next break from racing that I get, im might get a new cam.

Actually PEP has the nicest covers, I just took PEP off of them. They are neoprene with heavy duty zippers. Baldwin sells them.
