MX winter rebuild

Well I have started on the rebuild. Just taken my time this winter so the progress might be slow.
This is what the bike looked like when I started to take it apart:

I am in the process of cleaning everything and refreshing the motor.
I already have the parts back from JB, they powdercoated everything for me.
I am doing;
Trans. blue frame,
white sub-frame, steering stem, engine mounts and brackets,
trans red a-arms, swing-arm, clutch cover, and muffler.

I am am getting a few new parts for it too.
DG pro-pegs, new stock fenders, Quad tech seat cover, and maier hood.

Looks real good. Dig the colors you picked. Jody does some of the best powder coating I've seen....and for a reasonable price.

At first when you were describing the color scheme I didn't think it was going to turn out. Now that I see that, it looks awesome. Sweet color scheme, I wish I could do something like that to my 450.

Nick110- Yeah hopefully all the other colors on the bike like the graphics and seat cover will match too. And yeah everyone drinks a little too much.;)

hondacrf15- Jody is really good at about everything he does, and he stands behind everything he makes. good guy.

tcr450r- thanks! yeah when I told my sponsor and the other guys at the shop what color I was going with I dont think they were very impressed , but now that everything is going together everyone really likes it so far.
All last season I was wanting to go with red white and blue but then a couple other guys at the shop were doing their bikes like that so i mixed it up and did translucent colors.

Slosh- Hey, yeah I raced last year in the d12 ( that was my first year) me and two other friends actually parked right beside u at beans this last year. And u might have seen me at Indian Mounds with Scottie.

Since the last time, I put all the wiring on, my fender brackets, my rear end is completely on , my front hubs, front and rear brakes, handlebars, oil cooler and other misc. things.

Everything Is coming along really good. Pretty much got everything done for now, my sponsor just about has my motor done, once I get that bolted in it shouldnt be much longer.

My sponsor is getting ready to leave for california for 2 weeks so I wont be able to work on it for a while. :(
I try to get some better pics later.

o yea his new shop is a world better then the old one!!! im pretty sure i was one of the first bikes to roll out the new shop. He built my old 400ex a few years ago made it rip:devil: ..

Yeah, his new shop is pretty cool.
Its probably changed alot since u seen it, he has added on to it already and we are planning to have a little indoor track in the dirt floor area.:)
And he is living their now, he has a manufactured home down below the shop.

How lond are those PEP's ? they look really long for being long travel, are they 19.5 in.?

One_Bad_400 -yeah I really like those graphics, I think I am going with some custom graphics, I am going to try to get a metalic blue and red look along with white to match the bike.

440ex#28- I am pretty sure they are 20.5" shocks

This bike is so sweet this is almost the same I going to do with my bike only with chrome top a-arms. Jodi makes really good parts and they are the only thing I will ever run.
